Architected and directed development of UC San Diego campus-wide portal and content manager infrastructure based on the Vignette V7 platform, content migration tools, and auxiliary projects/systems such as UCSD Google Maps and Google Search Appliance; defined technical strategy and created/maintained project plans/schedules and technical specifications; lead discussions with campus groups and constructed technical and non-technical standards and best practices.

Created, debugged, and updated UCSD administrative web applications, using Perl and J2EE web application design techniques as well as the design/maintenance of database schema; worked with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions for meeting customer needs. Innovated a portal template UI delivery system for delivering portal HTML/CSS through a webservice and an environment-aware link multiplexing service for all portal-delivered applications. Created proof-of-concept Adobe Flex middleware integrations and applications.
